3 items (accompanying the diary and journal of the Transvaal Field Force 22 October-3 December 1879) extracted from WO 32/7791. Three maps of the Transvaal (now in Gauteng province, South Africa) showing (1) the road between Fort Weeber and Fort Oliphant; (2) bush veldt between Pretoria (now Tshwane) and Forts Oliphant and Weeber; and (3) territory between the River Oliphant and 'Sekubuen's Valley'. Reference notes. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 2 miles; (2) 1 inch to 4 miles; (3) 1 inch to 1 mile. Compass indicators. Sheet sizes between 28 cm x 18.5 cm and 45 cm x 41 cm.
