1 item (enclosure in correspondence from M Rondeau to R T Farquar, Governor General of Mauritius and from M Rondeau to Captain M B Cochrane of HMS Orontes, concerning a plan for a new wharf on naval ground at Port St Louis) extracted from ADM 1/67. Mauritius: Port St Louis. 'Plan General de l'hopital du Roy et de les environs relatif au terrain demande au Gouvernement par le Sr Rondeau jeune', showing Port du Roy [Port St Louis], Port March and the Gap of Fanfaron. The hospital, madhouse, park, ruined mill, bridges, existing quay, proposed new wharf with ramparts and mooring rings, old ramparts, shed, new dock, former forge, salting house, tar house, powder magazine, pier, boundaries and measurements of land required for M Rondeau's scheme are also shown. Reference table. Scale: 1 cm to 6 toises (calculated). Compass indicator. Watermark of 1804.
