2 items (originally enclosed in despatch number 130 from Consul General Ralph E Forster, Kobe, to Sir Conygham Greene, Tokyo, 4 October 1917) extracted from FO 262/1296 (folios 186-187). Japan: Kobe. 2 plans showing the progress of harbour works, September 1917, both showing roads, railways, reclaimed land, etc. (1) 'Plan of Breakwater': also showing a planned extension. Reference table. Scale: 1:12,000. Compass indicator. (2) 'General Plan of New Accommodation of Kobe Custom House': showing quay walls, landing stages, breakwaters, etc. Reference table. Scale: 1:2,000. Dimensions: (1) 57.5 cm x 41.5 cm; (2) 43.5 cm x 58 cm.
