3 items (numbered 1, 2b, 2) extracted from FO 46/227. Japan. 3 sheets of plans of buildings. (1) Plan of an unidentified building, labelled with the names and dimensions of rooms. (2) 'Yokohama. Plan of consular buildings to accompany Mr. Boyce's report': ground floor plan, labelling buildings and rooms. Scale 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Compass indicator. (2b) Overlay, affixed to the face of item 2, showing the upper floor of one of the buildings, marking alterations. Dimensions between 62 cm x 40 cm and 12 cm x 19 cm. Items 2 and 2b originally enclosed in a letter from R [?]Callander, Assistant Secretary, illustrating the circumstances of a dispute over accommodation, 18 August 1877.
