Sketch map showing railways and principal stations, with lakes, offshore islands, Cape Soya, and the northern tip of Honshu. Inset: map of the Kuril Islands (now in the Russian Federation); scale: 1:5,000,000. Subsequently enclosed in Hamilton-Homes's despatch number 52 to Sir Edward J A C Tilley, 16 September 1929; Foreign Office number F 6588/23, 13 December 1929.
