1 item (originally enclosed in a letter from Charles A Winchester, British Consulate, Kanagawa, to Rutherford Alcock, 11 March 1864) extracted from FO 262/79 (folios 131-132). Japan: Kanagawa. 'Allotment of Ground near Custom House': map, consisting of 2 sheets affixed to a single sheet, showing portions of land, with dimensions, allocated to Great Britain, United States of America, France, Netherlands, Portugal and Prussia, to be used for development; also showing a road, a boathouse and a godown [i.e. warehouse]. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet. Compass indicator.
