3 items (originally enclosed with a report and correspondence on the creation of a Protestant cemetery for foreign nationals, 1877-1927) extracted from FO 908/5. Japan: Hokkaido: Hakodate. 3 sketch plans of cemeteries, showing: (1) the foreign ('A') and Japanese ('B') Protestant cemeteries; (2) the [foreign] Protestant cemetery and its surroundings, showing an area of adjacent ground [?] for a proposed extension; (3) the Roman Catholic and Protestant cemeteries, and their surroundings, also showing roads and native houses. Scale, to item 1 only: 1:200. Compass indicators to items 1 and 3. Item 1 apparently drawn by - Lang, Keeper of the Foreign Cemetery. Dimensions between 38 cm x 27 cm and 72 cm x 91.5 cm.
