(1) 'Tunnel Sous-marin. Entre la France et L'Angleterre, Sous le Pas de Calais': cross-section, showing geographical formation at tunnel entrances; scale: 1:500. (2) Map showing the English and French coasts, soundings and sandbanks etc, and the proposed route of the tunnel; reference table and notes; scale: 1 inch to about 2 miles. (3) 'County of Kent Parish of St. Margaret's at Cliffe': map showing Saint Margaret's Bay, showing the beach, cliffs, buildings, water marks, etc, and the limits of the area to be acquired [by the Channel Tunnel Company]; scale: 1 inch to 212 feet; compass indicator. (4) Relief map of part of Kent, showing Deal and Dover, village, roads, railways, etc, and the land purchased by the Channel Tunnel Company at Saint Margaret's Bay. (5) 'Tunnel Sous-marin. Entre la France et L'Angleterre, Sous le Pas de Calais, Profil en long': cross-section of the proposed tunnel, with measurements. All items lithographed by Harrison and Sons. Items 1 and 2 confirmation as true copies by A Lavalley, 1 July 1874. Dimensions: (1) 32 cm x 42 cm; (2) 31 cm x 42 cm; (3) 31 cm x 41 cm; (4) 31 cm x 39.5 cm; (5) 31.5 cm x 69 cm.
