'Sketch map of the Battle of Omdurman 2nd Sept. 1898': 2 maps on 1 sheet, showing British, Egyptian and Dervish forces at the first and second stages; also showing the nature of the terrain. Reference table to forces and brigades. Compass indicator. Surveyed by Major M G Talbot, Royal Engineers, 8 September 1898; troops by Captain Rawlinson, Deputy Assistant Adjutant General; Lithographed at the Intelligence Division, War Office, September 1898.
