3 items (originally enclosed with a report: 'Military situation and political aspect of affairs in the Aden hinterland') extracted from FO 78/5377 (folio 213). Arabian peninsula. 'Sheik Otman to Dthalla': map, on 3 sheets, of the route (now in Yemen) between Shaykh 'Uthman (near Aden) and Adh Dhala showing terrain, other roads and tracks, wells, a watercourse, vegetation, camping grounds, settlements, and contours; also marking the suitability of the route for infantry. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile; ruler at side of the map, to show distances. Compass indicator.
