(a) Ground plan of the site, showing the arrangement of existing buildings and works in progress. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]. Compass indicator. (b) Elevation of the centre of the south front and part of a wing. (c) Plan of the ground floor of the west wing and the centre of the building, showing the layout of rooms, etc. Reference note on the layout of the first floor. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Overlay: plan of the third floor of the central part of the building, showing the layout of receiving wards and a convalescent area for [prison] officers; overlay dimensions: 12.5 cm x 13 cm. Originally enclosed with a letter and estimate from H H Russell, Clerk of Works, to Captain Pasco, Royal Navy, in charge of the Convict Department, 18 June 1857.
