Germany: Möhne Valley. 'Ruhrtalsperrenverein. Wiederhetstellung der Möhnetalsperre. Spundwand an der Wasserseite zur Feststellung der Scâden am unteren Seite der Mauer'. Plan and sections, with MS additions. Scales: plan 1:500; sections 1:265. Produced by Heinrich Butzer, builders, Dortmund. MS note reads: 'This is thought to be the only copy in Britain of the German drawing of the breach in the Moehne dam. It was given to A R Collins by Herr Wildbrett of Heinrich Butzer who was the resident engineer on the repair work'. The original drawing was dated 23 May 1943. The Möhne Dam was breached during Operation Chastise (the 'Dambusters' raid) of 16-17 May 1943.
