'Exhibit "A"'; 'Lageplan Ehemaliges Arbeitserziehungslager "Russee"': site plan of a former labour camp. Cardinal points; south at the top. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel S C Auld, President of the Court. This map was formerly Exhibit 2 and ultimately Exhibit 7 at the trial.
West Germany and East Germany were not formally formed until 1949; Kiel was in the British-occupied zone, which was part of the British-American "Bizonia" from May 1947
