2 items (originally accompanying reports on the progress of the Survey of Gibraltar) extracted from WO 181/7. 'Map of the Campo of Gibraltar': two copies of a [?draft] key map, also covering part of Cádiz province, Spain, between Tarifa in the south-west and the Guadiaro River in the north-east; also showing sheet divisions. Scale: 3 inches to 4 miles. Compass indicator. Inset: 'Map of the Bobadilla - Algeciras Railway'. Different MS additions, coloured, to each item: (1) showing sheet numbers, areas contoured and areas yet to be mapped as of 10 March 1903, and the limits of Captain Harvey's map; (2) areas contoured and areas yet to be mapped as of 9 March 1904. MS reference tables. Both items approved by Captain E M Paul, Royal Engineers, Intelligence Officer, Gibraltar.
