1 item extracted from FO 7/274. Russian Empire: Crimea (now in Ukraine): Sevastopol. 'Sebastopol en Crimée': plan of the harbour, showing the strength of the Russian fleet. Reference table to ships and land defences. Scale: 1 mile to 3.15 inches. Compass indicator. Originally enclosed in Sir T Sorell's [despatch] number 13, 31 March 1838; according to Sorell, the plan was drawn by an Austrian naval officer who accompanied Archduke John on an excursion to the Black Sea.
