Scales: plan 1 inch to 88 feet; horizontal 1 inch to 20 feet; vertical 1 inch to 10 feet. (2) 'Longitudinal Elevation And Section Through Centre Of The Dock' and 'Plan At Coping Level'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. (3) 'Half Section Through Inner Mouth Of Culvert', 'Half Section Through Dry Dock', 'Longitudinal Section Through End Of Dry Dock Shewing Culvert Leading To Pumping Well', 'Half Section Through Steps', 'Half Section Through Slipway', 'Cross Section Through Shuttle Shaft Of Culvert Leading To Pumping Well' and 'Cross Section Of Culvert Leading To Pumping Well'. Scale: 1 inch to 5 feet. (4) 'Half Section Through Caisson Invert', 'Vertical Section Through Pumping Well', 'Half Section Through Shuttle Shaft Of Culvert', 'half Section Through Outer Mouth Of Culvert', 'General Half Section Through Pumping Well', 'Half Section Through Same Shewing Planking' and 'Half Section Shewing Mode Of Construction Curb Of Pumping Well'. Scale: 1 inch to 5 feet. (5) 'Timber Wharfing Approaches To Dry Dock', 'Front Elevation', 'Cross Section', 'Part Plan Of Cap Cill', 'Plan At AA (on Cross Section)', 'Plan At BB (on Cross Section)' and 'Top Plan shewing junction of northern approach with the existing east breakwater'. Scale: 1 inch to 5 feet. All signed by J W Rendel, and endorsed '15629/56'. Dimensions: (1) 70 cm x 129 cm; (2) 70 cm x 124 cm; (3) 64.5 cm x 97 cm; (4) 55.5 cm x 98.5 cm; (5) 51.5 cm x 96.5 cm.
According to T 3/45 these papers were filed with paper 19589 of 1856; this is preserved as T 1/6033A, but paper 15629 is not in the bundle.
