Description

1 item (Colonial Office paper number 9649 of 1901) extracted from DO 119/529. Map "A" to accompany Barotseland Boundary Report, showing routes, forts, roads, suggested boundary of Barotseland (now in Zambia) and the area between the Zambesi and Kafukwe Rivers subject to Hut Tax. Reference table to routes. Signed R T Coryndon. Printed at Stanfords Geographical Establishment. The map is annotated 'copy for approval 16/2/01'. Removed from correspondence relating to Barotseland, but no direct connection could be established.
