South-west Asia, north-east Africa. 'The Middle East': map of the area between 20° and 80°E and between 10° and 50° N. Produced by the Admiralty War Staff, I D [Intelligence Department]. MS additions, coloured, showing the division of responsibility among the High Commissioners in Egypt, Sudan and Mesopotamia, and Chief Political Officers in Palestine and eastern Arabia. Reference notes to the additions remain with the parent document.
