(1) Cover sheet originally for items (2) and (3), entitled '... Maquis Areas (for arms dropping early 1944) (prepared for S of S [Secretary of State] (Air)... circa March 1944'. MS, coloured, on card. (2) Map covering parts of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Printed by Geographical Section, General Staff, 1942. MS, additions, coloured, show areas of Maquis activity and their strengths, in numbers. MS reference table. (3) Printed map as at (2), with MS additions, coloured, marking priority areas [for dropping arms to Maquis], and a typescript reference note, explaining the additions, affixed to the map.
