Description

1 item (originally to illustrate Sir William Reid's despatch, 19 August 1854) extracted from CO 158/170. Malta. 'Plan of Valetta and its Harbours'. Reference table to buildings in Valletta, Floriana, Burmola, Senglea and Vittoriosa. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. Lithographed by G and L Brocktorff, Malta. Insets: views of Forts Saint Angelo and Saint Elmo. MS additions, coloured, showing the site of a new prison and an area proposed for building on the Corradino Heights.
