4 items (formerly filed with reports by Sergeant H Swindon, Royal Engineers, April - June 1881) extracted from WO 32/7829. Transvaal: Wakkerstroom (now in Mpumalanga province, South Africa). (1) Sketch plan, on tracing paper, of the surrounding area during the siege by the Boers 1880-1881. Reference note. Scale: 1:15,840. Compass indicator. (2-4) 3 sheets of sketches of buildings used for defence during the siege: (2) plan and section of the fort; (3) plan and section of the church; (4) plan and elevation of the court house. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Sheet sizes between 30 cm x 36 cm and 14 cm x 21 cm.
