1 item extracted from FO 371/3147.Europe, south-east: 'Hellenism in the Near East. An ethnological map compiled from the latest statistics by Professor George Soteriadis of the University of Athens'. The map depicts tthe ethnological make-up of Greece, Bulgaria, European Turkey and part of Asiatic Turkey. Title in rectangle at upper left corner. Reference tables to boundaries, railways, races. Inset (at same scale): 'Greek Macedonia. Distribution of various Nationalities 1 st of January 1916'. [?Printed by] Stanford's Geographical Establishment, London. Published by Edward Stanford Ltd, Long Acre. Transmitted to the Foreign Office by the Greek Embassy in London, 16 December 1918. An explanatory pamphlet, published in 1918 to accompany the map, remains in FO 371/3147.
