Description

1 item (enclosed in Admiral John Knight's despatch dated 5 June 1805 to the Admiralty Board, for their decision on 'the most proper Situation for the Flag Officer at Gibraltar') extracted from ADM 1/411. Gibraltar. 4 watercolour views on one sheet: (1) showing the position of the hulk Guerrier behind the Mole Head; (2) looking towards the Barbary coast from an open berth; (3) towards Algazires from the Naval Hospital windows; (4) showing The Gut from a position south east of the Naval Hospital.
