7 items extracted from FO 881/10167. Maps of the Turco-Persian frontier, showing territroy now in Iran and Iraq. (1) GSGS 2641. 'Sketch map showing Turco-Persian frontier as occupied by Persia west and south of Hawizeh.' Shows Persian frontier as locally observed also rivers, marsh, areas of cultivation and habitation. Reference table. Scale: 1:250000. (2) GSGS 2635. 'Sketch map of Muhammerah and lands in the vicinity of the Turco-Persian boundary as locally recognized'. Shows also boundary proposed by British government, waterways and principal buildings. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile. Reference table to buildings. Published at the War Office, June 1912.(3) and (4) GSGS 2640A and B. Sheets I and II of 'Map of Shatt-al-Arab and Bahmanshir including Muhammareh and Abbadan I'. The maps show the Turco-Persian frontier as locally recognised, the boundary proposed by the British government, limit of date groves, limit of cultivation, telegraph lines and main channel of Shatt-al-Arab.
