(1) Map of part of south-western Montenegro (now in Serbia and Montenegro), between Lake Scutari (now Lake Shkoder) and the Adriatic Sea, showing boundary as demarcated by Montenegrin Boundary Commission, and as proposed by Turkey and by Russia. Reference table. Compass indicator. Signed by M T Sale, Captain, Royal Engineers. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department. (2) 'Diagram' (sketch map) of area between Scutari (now Shkoder, Albania), Ipec [Pécc] and Podgorica (Montenegro), showing new frontier area of Kucka Kraina held by Montenegro and awarded to Turkey, and also the area of Gusinje Plava held by Turkey and awarded to Montenegro under the Treaty of Berlin. No scale shown. Signed by M T Sale, 25 November 1879. To illustrate despatch of 24 November 1879. (2) Subsequently lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department, see FO 925/3131. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 62 cm x 50 cm; (2) 42 cm x 32.5 cm.
