Middle East: Haifa (now in Israel). 2 plans showing the results of investigation during May and June 1920. (1) Printed plan, showing contours (of land and sea), currents, bores, roads and railways. Reference table; table to the geological strata underlying the bores. Compass indicator. [?Surveyed] by S Pearson and Son (Contracting Department), Ltd. MS addition marking: 'location of stone No 2'. (2) MS, coloured, plan comparing the depths ascertained by the investigation and those shown on Admiralty Chart 1242. Compass indicator. Surveyors as item 1. Insets: 5 cross-sections. Both items signed: H T Ker, Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. Dimensions: (1) 59.5 cm x 92 cm; (2) 61.5 cm x 91 cm.
