1 item extracted from C 108/7. Northamptonshire. Plan of Hardwick Village and surroundings, showing names of woods and pastures, with proprietors. Individual trees sketched in wood. Houses in village drawn in perspective. Key to buildings in village: manor house, church, rectory, houses (with names of tenants). Title surrounded by fretwork cartouche enclosed in mauve square. Scale, mounted by dividers enclosing figure of Justice balanced on an orb: 1 inch to 20 perches. Surveyed by Robert Johnson of London, May 1587. Removed from indenture between Lord Mordaunt and Francis Nicholls, dated 30 May 29 Eliz I. Exhibit in unknown cause.
