Description

2 items extracted from C 113/82. Middlesex: Hackney: De Beauvoir Town (now in London Borough of Hackney). (1) Map showing leasehold estate belonging to William Rhodes, with field-names and acreage. Title in oval of leaves. No scale shown. Compass indicator. John Thompson, 19 Buckingham Place, Fitzroy Square, 1803. (2) Map showing Regent's Canal, Kingsland Road, and the layout of De Beauvoir Square. Scale: 1 inch to about 200 feet. Cardinal points at border. Ingrey and Madeley, lithographers, 310 Strand, [1825]. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 47.5 cm x 39.9 cm; (2) 43.7 cm x 55.9 cm. Exhibits in unknown cause.
