Scale bar surmounted by dividers; 7 inches to 300 rods. Map crossed by surveying lines. Cardinal points in Latin. (Signed) Edmund Floren[?ce], 27 March 1589. Extracted from the record of a commission inquiring into weirs on the River Wyre, consisting of George Middleton, Thomas Fleetwood, Thomas Cransfield and John Calvert.
