Map of 'certayne Marshe lande lyinge betweene the Queene-saltes and the Castellfyeld on the north syde of her ma[jes]tes castell of Pevensey': castle, churches and other buildings in elevation, Pevensey bridge, a stream, roads, propietors of fields, acreage, legal arguments. Decorative border. No scale shown. Cardinal and intermediate points. Endorsed by the commissioners: Herbert Pelham, James Thatcher, John Threele and John Byrche. The description quoted above is taken from the heading of the interrogatories ministered on the Queen's behalf. Extracted from depositions in the case, the Queen v James Colbrond, [Aug, 38 Eliz I]. On sheet 32.5 cm x 36.5 cm.
