Shows common lands in Methwold, Fordham and surrounding areas; towns of West Dereham, Hilgay, Fordham, Denver, Roxham and Southery represented by drawings of churches in elevation; also shows Modney Priory, Wood Hall, named closes, and the rivers Ouse and Wissey and other waterways. No scale shown. Cardinal points in Latin; legends in English. Oriented to the south. Endorsement in late seventeenth-century hand to the effect that the relevant commission is dated 9 Elizabeth I. Made to illustrate a survey of the manors and wastes, ordered by commission dated 19 June, 9 Elizabeth I, in DL 44/224.
