Plan showing Meadow Place, and land between Nether and Over Haddon and Youlgreave: town of Over Haddon; river and water-mills; meadows, arable fields, common, moorland; roads; granges of Roche Abbey. Field names and land ownership denoted. Buildings, cistern, gate, walls, and hurdle fences drawn in bird's-eye view. Two water-mills drawn on their side, to show their wheels in the river. No scale shown. Oriented to the north. Cardinal points shown. Endorsed in later hand: 'No. 65 Overhaddon'. Ascribed to Richard Howton, vicar of Bakewell, by E M Yates. Made by order of the Court of Duchy Chamber given on 14 February, 19 Henry VIII (DL 3/19, S1a); to illustrate claim by tenants of Over Haddon (Allen Sutton and others) to common of pasture in lands held by the Abbot of Leicester's tenant, Richard Addyshed.
