Buckinghamshire: Olney. Plan of Olney Park and immediate area: showing Yardley Chase, Weston Lees 'newly inclosed', woodland, Park Lane, demesne land shown in strips. Sir Robert Throckmorton's house at Weston, Olney town, Warrington, 'The Beastes Pasture', shown pictorially, outside border of main map. Fence, gates, trees and buildings in perspective. Fir plantation and deciduous trees in park differentiated pictorially. No scale shown. Oriented to the north-west. Cardinal points set diagonally in margins. Endorsed in later hands: 'No 41 No Title'; 'Olney Park Yardley Chase'. [? Henry VIII] in British Isles catalogue, but now dated to c. 1570 since in the same hand as a map of Llantilio Croeseny, Monmouthshire at MPC 1/93 with accompanying documents dated 1571.
