Plan showing Rothwell park and new park: named fields, closes and woods with their acreage; fences and gates; River Aire; park bounded by Wrigglesworth, Oulton, Rothwell, Carleton, Lofthouse, Leeds (indicated by legend). 'The hey lodge' [the High Lodge]. No scale shown. Oriented to the south. Cardinal points shown. Endorsed in later hand: 'No 30 Rothwell'. To show lands for herbage in dispute between Thomas, Lord Darcy and the tenants of Rothwell. Lines crossing some boundaries may be marks of measurement or other marks made during the map's construction. For what appears to be a fair copy of this map in the same hand, see MPI 1/249.
