'A true mapp or plott of the division of the wastes and commons within the hamlets of Hope, Aston, Thornehill and Nether Ashopp [in Hope Woodlands] within the libertie of the mannor of High Peake'; shows acreage and quality of land; buildings in perspective. No scale shown. Cardinal points at border. Drawn by Joseph Eyre, surveyor, 19 October 1675. The acreage differs somewhat from that given in MPC 1/39 and the map is probably later.
