'A true plott of the Lye plaine, Ewins hill and the Hoockes beinge the grounds in controversie w th the landes neare adioyninge' Mapshows trees, scrub and flowers; cattle, horses and sheep; two buildings in elevation. Field-names and descriptions given, some on paper labels. Title on a piece of paper pasted into a fretwork cartouche. Decorative border. Scale bar surmounted by dividers, in fretwork cartouche: 1 inch to 16.5 perches. Cardinal points in border. Exhibited in a suit in the Chancery of the Duchy of Lancaster between the Attorney-General for the King, and George and Roger Walrond, of Walrond's farm, Aldbourne.
