Lancashire. Plan and section of an intended railway or tramroad from Liverpool to Manchester. Scales: plan 1 inch to 1 mile; section 1 inch to 400 feet. Compass star. Surveyed by George Stephenson, engineer, 20 November 1824. Engraved by J and A Walker, 47 Bernard Street, Russell Square, London, and Pool Lane, Liverpool. With small lithographed copy, dated 1825, by Rushton and Melling, lithographers, Liverpool.
