Ireland, Scotland and England. 3 copies of a book of 16 plans illustrating Thomas Telford's Report on communications between Ireland and England via south-west Scotland. (1) Irish Channel communications; (2) Portpatrick, Wigtownshire; (3) and (4) Portnessock Bay and harbour, Wigtownshire; (5) and (6) Bangor Bay and proposed harbour, County Down; (7) Donaghadee, County Down; (8) and (9) Toll road and Cree River bridge, Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire, John Gillone, county surveyor, 26 June 1807, (10) and (11) Dee River, Dee Bridge village and bridge, Kirkcudbrightshire; (12) Dee bridge at Kirkcudbright; (13) Esk bridge at Garristown, Cumberland; (14) Sark bridge between Dumfries and Cumberland, (15) and (16) Eden River and bridge at Carlisle, Cumberland Various scales and sizes. Compass indicators. (1) to (7) by Thomas Telford and John McKerlie, civil engineers, March 1808. Engraved by James Basire and printed by Luke Hansard by order of the House of Commons, 15 June 1809.
