1 item extracted from SP 29/429. City of London. Plan of 'The New Worke to be made at the end of Tower Wharf near St. Katherines' [endorsement]. The initials CR [Charles II] appear in the centre of the plan. Originally enclosed with warrant of July 1683 authorising the works. According to the warrant, the works were designed by Bernard de Gomme, principal engineer.
