Map of area north of Warsaw, Poland, showing the Palatinate of P[lstrok]"ock, 'La Terre de Dobrzyn', 'La Terre de Michalow', a Prussian line of demarcation, place-names, towns, churches, rivers. 12.4 cm to 2,000 verges de Rhin. Compass indicator. Endorsed: 'In Mr Wroughton's cover. R 4th Augst 1777'. Thomas Wroughton sent this map, which he had received from the King of Poland, with his despatch from Warsaw of 12 July 1777. It shows the district 'where exists the dispute between the Polish and Prussian Demarcators ...'.
