Chart of the coast between Nieuwpoort, Flanders (now in Belgium) and Walcheren, Zeeland (now in the Netherlands), showing the movements of the English fleet: also shows named shoals and channels, leading lines, roads, place-names on shore. Scale bar decorated and coloured: 3 inches to 5 English leagues. Compass rose. The chart forms part of a letter (2 folios) of 7 June (new style) 1673 from John Scott at Bruges to Sir Joseph Williamson, which contains information about Dutch preparations against the English. Two sheets, (map in centre of first sheet), each 29 cm x 43 cm.
