10 items extracted from SP 9/206 (formerly item 14). Sweden: drawings of iron, silver, copper, zinc and other metalliferous mines at Boda, Dannemora, Falun, 'Felsbro', Hedemora, Lindesberg, Nora, Sala and Sater in central Sweden. Scale: 3.3 cm to 50 ulna. Each drawing was apparently intended as a plan; but, with the exception of the mine openings, most objects are shown in elevation (mining machinery, hoists, houses, trees). With descriptions of mines, dates of first working, cost, numbers of miners etc, and reports by the Swedish College of Mines. An account by the College of Mines (presented to King [Frederick I] of Sweden on 23 July 1724) and a list of the plans, remain in SP 9/206. Nine sheets each about 24 x 37cm; one sheet 49cm x 37cm.
The piece which formerly bore map reference MPF 269 (ex SP 78/257) was transferred to MPFF 1/1
