2 items extracted from SP 29/205 (items 5 and 6). (1) One sheet with two maps, above a description of the Dutch attack. The left-hand map shows the River Thames estuary as far as London, with anchorages. Map in Dutch: title also in French. Scale: 1 inch to 2 Dutch miles. Compass star and rhumb lines. The right-hand map shows the location of the attack on Chatham and Sheppey, Kent, by the Dutch fleet under Admiral de Ruyter, 19-23 June 1667, with ships and gunfire. No scale shown. (2) One sheet with two maps. The left-hand map shows the River Thames estuary as far as London. Map in Dutch: title also in French. Scale: 1 inch to 2 Dutch miles. Compass star. The right-hand map shows the location of the attack of 19-23 June 1667, with ships and gunfire. No scale shown. Compass rose. Both by Marcus Doornick, Amsterdam, 1667.
