County Limerick. 'MAIOR COMITATUS LIMERICE': 'The Plotte of the greatt Countey of Lymbrik': map showing boundaries of small counties, the Queen's land, Queen's escheated land and land in lease, freehold lands; River Shannon and tributaries with bridges, drawings of rowing boats and sailing vessels. Two shields of arms, the cross of St George with Garter surmounted by a Crown between E and R; and the Irish harp, with Garter beneath roses, surmounted by a Crown between E and R. Fretwork cartouche enclosing a description of the lands surveyed and the method of survey. Scale bar on a ruler surmounted by dividers, the legs of which enclose a sun in splendour encircled by 'Franciscus Jobson Discripsit'. Scale: 1 inch to 2 miles. Part surveyed by Arthur Robins.nds; River Shannon and tributaries with bridges, drawings of rowing boats and sailing vessels.
