Description

1 item (enclosed in a despatch dated 23 February 1860 from Sir Benjamin Hawes [Under Secretary of State for War], to the Duke of Newcastle [Secretary of State for the Colonies]) extracted from CO 323/256. Map of Europe showing the boundaries of the various empires and states as settled by Treaty. Also shows principal coal districts and basins. Reference tables of statistics of imports, exports and production of coal in individual countries between 1855 and 1858. Scale not shown.
