5 items (originally in report of H F Peet, Director of Public Works, Nigeria, 24 October 1923, enclosure with despatch number 944) extracted from CO 583/120. Nigeria. Five plans relating to water supply for Enugu. (1) 'Plan shewing pipe-line from intake to reservoir.' Scale: 1 inch to 1000 feet. Compass indicator. (2) 'Plan of source shewing catchment drain and fencing.' Scale: 1 inch to 60 feet. Compass indicator. Traced by D A Jones. (3) 'Plan of grotto shewing intake & type cross section of channel shewing method of protection.' Scale: plan 1 inch to 10 feet; section 1 inch to 5 feet. Also on the sheet, a plan of the sand catchment pit. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. (4) 'Longitudinal section of grotto channel & intake shewing method of protection.' Scale: horizontal 1 inch to 10 feet; vertical 1 inch to 2 feet. (5) 'Plan of town water main.' Scale: 1 inch to 400 feet. Compass indicator. All sheets signed by H F Peet. Dimensions: each sheet 67 cm x 94 cm
