(1) United States of America: Michigan; Canada: Ontario. 'No 1. Detroit. 1820.' Map showing the Detroit river around Grosse Isle. Lithograph coloured. Scale: 3 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicator. 'We certify this to be a true map of part of the Boundary designated by the sixth article of the Treaty of Ghent from actual Survey by order of the Board.' Signed by [boundary] Commissioners and Surveyors [appointed under the 6th and 7th Articles of the Treaty of Ghent]. (2) 'Sheet no. 2'. 'Lake St Clair.' Map showing Ontario/Michigan boundary line. Scale: 1 inch to 1 geographical mile. Compass indicator. Signed by [boundary] Commissioners and Surveyors under the 6th and 7th Articles of the Treaty of Ghent. (3) Two maps on one sheet. (i) 'Sheet no. 3'. 'Copy of Chart entitled Detroit River from Lake Erie to Lake St. Clair.' Scale: 3 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicators. 'Surveyed in 1840, 1841 and 1842 by Lieutenants J.N. Macomb and W.H. Warner, Corps of Topographical Engineers under the direction of Captain W.G. Williams'. (ii) 'Map of Lime Kiln crossing Detroit River (with boundary line laid down). Showing the completion of 300ft. channel and progress of work on the west side, made under the direction of Lieut. Col. O.M. Poe ... by H. Kallman, Asst. Engineer, 1887'. Scale: 1 inch to 500 feet. Compass indicator. (4) Two items on one sheet. (i) 'Sheet no. 4'. Chart of Lake Saint Clair... executed under the direction of Lt. Col. W.F. Raynolds,... in 1867 & 1868 & Major C.B. Comstock ... in 1870 & 1871 drawn in 1873 and 1874.' Scale: 1 inch to 1.54 statute miles. Compass indicator. (ii) Michigan: St Clair Flats Ship Canal. 'Survey of the N. and N.W. Lakes under the direction of Major C.B. Comstock U.S. Eng's. St. Clair Flats Ship Canal. Surveyed & drawn by Lieut. A.N. Lee U.S. Engineers and Asst. A.C. Lamson 1870.' Shows detailed soundings.
