3 items (originally enclosed with letter from Captain Bowler, June and July 1925, on a possible solution to British unemployment problems) extracted from CO 417/716. Three copies of a map of part of southern Africa (now in Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe), showing railways in operation and as proposed by Captain Louis P Bowler in order to connect Walfish Bay (now Walvis Bay, in Namibia) with Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) Reference table and notes on benefits to be gained by extending the railway. Scale: 1 inch to about 55 miles.
