Eighteen sheets of plans, elevations and sections of proposed Protectorate Hospital and quarters for staff. (1), (2) 'Drawing 520/4.' Amended scheme July 1936.Ground and first floor plans, front elevation and section. Scale: 1 inch to 16 feet. SMO's [Senior Medical Officer] revised plan, traced by A B J[allow] and signed by J R Gwyther, Director of Public Works, PWD [Public Works Department], The Gambia. 2 copies. (3), (4) 'Drawing 520/5.' Alternative arrangement of buildings. Ground and first floor plans and front elevation. Scale: 1 inch to 16 feet. Traced by A B J[allow], signed by J R Gwyther, as above. 2 copies. (5) 'Drawing 520/1.' Floor plan and block plan on a single sheet. Scale: floor plan 1 inch to 8 feet; block plan 1 inch to 16 feet. Signed by Gwyther as above and by Wilson Rea, SMO [Senior Medical Officer]. (6) Blueprint copy of (5). (7) 'Drawing 520/2.' A sheet of elevations and sections of various buildings including male and female wards, out-patients, and waiting shelter. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet. Signed (in block capitals) by Gwyther as above. (8) Blueprint copy of (7). (9) 'Drawing 520/8.' Plans and elevations of out-patients, laundry, mortuary, x-ray, kitchen and store room, latrine and bath. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet.
