3 items extracted from CO 129/173 (1) 'Hong Kong: plan of the Cantonment at Victoria, 1853.' Shows buildings and boundary stones. Scale:1 inch to 132 feet. Compass indicator. Signature (illegible) 19 October 1853. Undersigned by Charles St G Cleverly, Surveyor General. (2) 'Hong Kong.' Plan showing sites reserved by the War Department and sites proposed to be handed over to the Colonial authorities, line of new road, and buildings. Reference table. Scale: 1:1,920. Compass indicator. Certified true copy of plan enclosed in War Office letter of 19 March 1868 by J M Price, Surveyor General, 1876. (3) 'Hong Kong.' Plan showing ground ceded in 1869 by the military to the colonial authorities; approximate line of new road and where it has been discontinued; Garden Road boundary stone placed by direction of Colonel de Butts in 1869; proposed rifle range and buildings. Scale: 1:1,920. Compass indicator. Signed 'J.M. Price, Surveyor General, Hong Kong' [1876]. Dimensions (1) 57 cm x 93 cm; (2) 70 cm x 86 cm; (3) 69 cm x. 86 cm.
